Sujet tells the story of a drifter that takes a job aboard a spacecraft that harvests gas thousands of kilometers away. Escaping for a variety of reasons, he sleeps for years at a time which eventually takes a toll on his mind as he relives memories long forgotten.
Part Documentary, Part Fiction, Part Delusion, Presence follows a young man as he fights against the construction of an airport that would ultimately destroy his family home. the struggle, however, proves difficult and as the land is transformed, his sanity slips away, causing him to take drastic action versus foes both real and imaginary.
