Kyle Lennan

Kyle first seriously ventured into the film world at the ripe old age of 16; turning school projects into short unedited movies he shot with his dad using a hi8 camcorder. Realizing cinema was a potential creative outlet, he decided this is what he wanted to pursue as his livelihood and passion.

At 19 he moved from sarnia ontario to toronto to study film at centennial college. while at centennial he produced, wrote and directed 10 short films. Following graduation he eventually found his way into the television industry, and put film aside to concentrate on his career. After about a year of working, he frantically tried to find a creative outlet and returned to film once more. Meet-ups and group collaboration followed and Kyle co-produced his first feature length film SUJET in 2012/2013. during the filming of SUJET, Kyle also occasionally worked on sets with friends who needed an extra hand. he provided audio assistance for a web series titled “Studio X”, and he also provided his expertise for “Ex Gratia”, an award winning 48 hour film challenge project.

Kyle believes that film can be a wonderful outlet to express tough or difficult stories. his creative cinematic views not only complement the overall film but also the overall story. He thrives on making people think about what they just watched and or heard. he is known for his expertise in storytelling, cinematography and film philosophy.

Presently, Kyle continues to work (television) and play (film) in Toronto.
